In the Synergi® Inspection Management™ process, the system will enable the user to secure efficient communication of notifications and findings. The tool is also effective in streamlining the identification, verification and implementation of actions plans and improvement initiatives.The standard Synergi® Inspection Management™ process is based on a principle of offering different case types for planning, execution and follow-up of inspections. These cases are connected through a system function specifically designed for linking individual cases. When combining these cases in the system, they constitute a hierarchy of cases where the inspection plan is located at the top with interactive links to several inspection records that contain detailed information about each specific inspection, checklists used for identification purposes and actions resulting from the findings.
By managing the full inspection process in Synergi®, you will obtain a powerful tool for top-down planning and approval as well as bottom-up verification and control. During this process, ownership of all activities and elements are clearly defined. Typically, site or business unit management will assume ownership of the inspection plan, while supervisors, process owners and managers will assume ownership of the inspections and distribute tasks to responsible parties. When performing inspections, the built-in checklist functionality provides valuable assistance. An unlimited number of checklists and checklist items can be identified in the system to be used on the various inspection types. Items with findings at risk or unqualified findings can be well documented with additional information. Based on this information, actions are auto-generated with pre-entered information for due dates and responsible parties (completely configurable). Furthermore, Synergi® is delivered with default functionality for user alerts and experience transfer. Any case processing or action plan delay can be detected, and alerts and notifications can be automatically issued by the system when necessary.
The versatile and powerful built-in Synergi® search and reporting tool allows the user to perform searches across your entire database (as and if authorised), and to save and distribute favourite searches to other users or user groups. The users can easily generate complete inspection reports and related improvement plans as well as periodical inspection performance reports, directly from the system. Naturally, all free text fields and code tables in the database are fully searchable. Results are displayed in a number of flexible lists, views and html reports or exported to Excel for further processing if required.
